Our Story

I’m Douglas, a former entrepreneur in Shenzhen whose life paused in 2014 due to chronic gastritis and exhaustion. A doctor’s simple question—“Have you tried incense?”—led me to Master Bai, a guardian of China’s intangible cultural heritage.
The first curl of natural herbal incense in his studio melted my tension, lifted fatigue, and gave me my first peaceful sleep in months. Shaken by its deep, non-medicinal healing, I apprenticed under him to learn the ancient craft of incense-making.
In 2021, as a certified inheritor of this heritage, I founded ETNCN to share this wisdom and help others rediscover balance, calm, and true well-being.
